We run two in the Grabel Mares Listed Hurdle over 2m 2f. We have always thought quite a bit of Gauloise (Sean O’Keeffe) and she justified that confidence with a smooth win in a listed hurdle at the Punchestown festive. She will improve as the season progresses and we expect her to at least finish in the first three today. Dysart Diamond (Bryan Cooper) has good each-way prospects provided there is no overnight rain.
We also have two runners in the Grade 1 Morgiana Hurdle over 2 miles. This race has been good to us over the years and Sharjah (Patrick) ticks a lot of boxes this time round. He won this race three years ago and comes out on top on official ratings here. Echoes In Rain (Sean O’Keeffe) has it all to do on ratings but has scope for lots of improvement. This is a step up in grade for her and she can be a difficult ride. However, she has a lot of class and likes this track.
