We have three runners in the Cesarewitch Handicap over 2m 2f. Baby Zeus (William Buick) ran very well over 1m 4f at Leopardstown last time. Even though he is a half-brother to Lagostovegas who won the Ascot Stakes over 2m 4f we are a bit concerned about him staying this trip. He will love the ground and if William can settle him and pounce late he could run very well. Scaramanga (Jason Watson) is having his first run for us. He disappointed when fitted with cheek pieces in England so we are leaving them off today. He has been doing great work at home recently without them. The ground and trip will suit. Jason Watson who rides him here won this race for us two years ago on Great White Shark for the same owner. Gibraltar (Saffie Osborne) is still improving and will like this ground and trip. With the help of Saffie’s 3 lb claim he looks to have a great each-way shout.
