We have two runners in the mares maiden hurdle over 2 miles. Belle Metal (Paul) has been disappointing after a good bumper season. She has been slow to learn how to jump properly so maybe running in races will help her to improve. Take Tea (Mark Walsh) was very free at Punchestown last time but dropping back in trip with a hood and tongue tie should bring a lot of improvement. She will like the ground and has a great chance of catching the judge’s eye.
Gentleman De Mee (Mark Walsh) goes for the 2 mile novice chase. He was very good at Thurles last time and the experience he gained there should put him in good stead for this rise in class. He is improving and this looks like a good opportunity.
