Eden Flight (Paul) runs in the maiden hurdle over 2m 4f. He fell at the last when looking destined for third place here last month. He needs to do better today and maybe the application of a first-time hood will work the oracle.
Lord Royal (Paul) runs in the 3 mile beginners chase. He was in with every chance when falling at the second last at Thurles in November but then ran very disappointingly at Naas last month. A change of tactics and first-time tongue tie could bring about the required improvement. It might be worth not losing faith in him yet.
The Bandit (Patrick) makes his racecourse debut in the bumper. He is a nice horse by Stowaway. He is fit and ready to start off but this is a tough ask for his first run in very demanding ground.
