Navan 27th November

Tekao (Mark Walsh) has his first run for us in the 3YO maiden hurdle over 2 miles. He was very impressive when winning on the flat in France and looks a real three year old hurdling type. If he settles into his jumping early on, his flat experience will stand to him over the final two flights. He should be very competitive.

Grangeclare West (Paul) makes his hurdling debut in the 2m 4f maiden hurdle. He was impressive when winning his bumper and jumps well at home. He will love this trip and we are expecting a big performance.

We have three runners in the Troytown Handicap Chase over 3 miles. Paul has picked Fighter Allen and he thinks this trip will bring out the best in him. He could be on a nice mark here. Egality Mans (Bryan Cooper) was a little disappointing in a novice chase at Killarney last time but we are hoping he can improve a bit here. It’s a tough ask for him. Rambranlt’jac (Brian Hayes) needs every yard of this trip. Brian got a great tune out of him when winning a beginners chase at the Galway festival and, if he settles into his jumping here, he must have a chance off his light weight.

Saint Roi (Mark Walsh) makes his chasing debut in the 2m 1f beginners chase. We schooled him last year but he had a little niggly problem so we kept him to hurdles for the season. He has schooled well recently and we are looking forward to seeing how he gets on today.

Williamstown Dancer (Patrick) runs in the mares listed winners bumper. She gave Bryony Frost a hard time before running out at Cheltenham last time. She has been in good form at home since and has a decent each-way chance here.
