Naas 31st October

We have four runners in the Naas November Handicap over 2 miles. Whiskey Sour (Jake Coen) has plenty of weight but will go on the ground. With his rider’s 7lb claim he must have a good each-way chance. Royal Illusion (Seamus Heffernan) ran really well at the Curragh last time. While she has won on soft ground, today’s really testing conditions are not ideal. My Sister Sarah (Wayne Lordan) has a nice draw and will enjoy the trip. She was a little disappointing last time but has a good chance on her best form. Maze Runner (Niall McCullagh) went up 6lbs for finishing third in the Cesarewitch at the Curragh but he is an improving sort and today could be his big day. He will handle the heavy ground and we’ll be disappointed if he’s not in the shake-up.
