Limerick 15th March

Drury (Paul) runs in the grade three mares novice hurdle over 2m 6f. She was disappointing behind Five O’clock at Thurles last time but this longer trip will be more to her liking. However, the ground will be very testing today and that won’t suit her.

We have Vent D’automne (Paul) and Et Dite (Danny) in the 3 mile maiden hurdle. They both ran in a 2m 6f maiden at Punchestown last month where Vent D’automne finished a neck behind Et Dite. The fact that Paul has picked Vent D’automne speaks volumes. Both horses will love the ground and the trip.

Salsaretta (Paul) goes for the 2m 6f mares novice chase. Everything suits – the ground, the trip and she has won over the track. She jumps very well and should be too good for this opposition.

Stattler (Patrick) runs in the winners bumper. He won well on his debut at Fairyhouse but then was a bit disappointing when third at Naas last month. He will love this testing ground and hopefully he will go close.
