We have two runners in the 2m 6f mares novice hurdle. Hauturiere (Danny) won at Punchestown last month and is improving all the time. She is in real good form and the ground and trip will suit. We think she holds a strong chance. Eabha Grace (Conor McNamara) was disappointing behind Hauturiere last time but we probably got the tactics wrong. A change of tactics and this longer trip could bring about big improvement.
We run two in the winners’ bumper. Largy Hill (Elliot Ohgren) is a course and distance winner and his rider’s 5lb claim puts him right in the picture. Jody has elected to ride Special Cadeau and that is a big plus. We got the tactics wrong at the Dublin Racing Festival and riding him differently today should be a huge benefit.
