Gauloise (Paul) runs in the 2m 2f Grade 3 Mares Novice Hurdle. She won a mares’ novice hurdle at Thurles last month but this is a big step up in class. The extra trip today and testing ground won’t be a problem for her but Royal Kahala will be a tough nut to crack and it should be a very informative race.
M C Muldoon (Patrick) runs in division one of the 2 mile maiden hurdle. He has improved since finishing fourth on his hurdling debut at Leopardstown at Christmas and we think a change of tactics and a hood today could make a big difference. We are expecting a big run.
Grand Bornand (Paul) goes for division two. He ran too free and was very green when fourth on his hurdling debut at Cork last November. Different riding tactics and a first-time tongue tie and hood should bring about improvement.
