Runrized (Paul) goes for the 2m 4f maiden hurdle. He hasn’t run for a year but is ready to start back now. This trip will be fine for him and he will handle the ground. He has been working well and hopefully he will keep up the yard’s great recent run.
Hook Up (Paul) runs in the mares conditions hurdle over 2m 2f. She won a maiden hurdle here in spectacular fashion in November. This is a big step up in class but we think she will be up to it.
We run two in the Grade 3 Mares Chase over 2m 5f. Salsaretta (Paul) fell at the first at Punchestown last time but is usually a good jumper. She is not well suited by these race conditions but is open to improvement and will love the ground. Cabaret Queen (David) is better suited by the race conditions. This trip is a little short for her but her style of racing should compensate for that.
Antey (Danny) runs in the 2m 5f beginners chase. He finished a long way behind Energumene last time but this looks easier. He fell on his two previous runs but if he gets around today he will be involved and could be a good each-way prospect.
Whatdeawant (Patrick) makes his debut in the bumper. He is a nice individual and it’s good to have a runner again for Sean and Bernadine Mulryan. This fellow goes well at home and will give a good account of himself.
