Fairyhouse 3rd December

I Am Maximus (Paul) makes his debut over fences in the 2m 5f beginners chase. He had some nice form for Nicky Henderson in England and he could be a big asset to the yard. This race traditionally throws up a good horse and hopefully this fellow will maintain that trend. He jumps well at home and we are looking forward to running him here.

Whiskey Lullaby (Jody Townend) runs in the Ladies Handicap Chase over 2m 5f. She has the ability to win a race like this so with a bit of luck she should go very close. Jody’s experience is a big plus.

We have two runners in the 2 mile handicap chase. Paul has opted for Fan De Blues which is a good sign. He likes this trip and the drying ground will suit. Mt Leinster (Sean O’Keeffe) is a course and distance winner and he will like the trip and ground. However, preference is for Fan De Blues who is fit from summer racing.

Viva Devito (Paul) has his first run over hurdles in division one of the 2 mile maiden hurdle. He jumps well and is a big long striding horse who will be suited by this galloping track. His bumper form gives him a good chance here.

Facile Vega (Paul) makes his hurdling debut in division two. He jumps well and has been doing everything right at home. Granted a clear round he should get his season off to a good start.

Nick Rockett (Patrick) has his first run for us in the bumper. He won a point to point for Pat Doyle and is a nice type but this is bound to be a very hot bumper. The drying ground is in his favour.
