Eden Flight (Paul) runs in the 2m 4f maiden hurdle. He has been disappointing all year but this drying ground will really suit. We will be pleased if he gets into the money here.
Elimay (Mark Walsh) goes for the 2m 5f Listed Mares Chase. She will like the ground and trip and a reproduction of her Cheltenham run should be good enough to get her back to winning ways today.
We have three runners in the 3 mile handicap hurdle. Fighter Allen (Paul) has been a bit disappointing but will like this ground and the trip won’t be a problem. Capodanno (Mark Walsh) is another who will appreciate the better ground. He jumps well and should give a good account. The nice ground should help Lady Breffni (Danny) to get the trip and she has a handy weight.
We have five in the 2 mile Grade A Handicap Hurdle. Foveros (Conor McNamara) will find this tough after being off for quite a while. Uradel (Aubrey McMahon) was disappointing last time but Aubrey’s 7lb claim might bring him into the picture. Paul has elected to ride Ruaille Buaille who ran very well at Leopardstown last time despite meeting with interference. The form of that race has worked out and on that run she has a good chance here. Hybery (Danny) has a nice weight and gets his ground. We have always thought he will win a big one and today could be the day! Robinnia (Brian Hayes) has a chance off her light weight.
Brooklynn Glory (Patrick) goes for the Listed Mares Bumper. Her two wins were on softer ground than she will encounter here but her pedigree suggests she will handle this ground. She has to reverse Leopardstown form with Party Central which won’t be an easy task.
