Dolcita (Paul) goes for the Mares Listed Chase over 2m 5f. She has the advantage of being a course and distance winner but this is a hot race and we will be pleased if she finishes in the first three.
We have three runners in the 2m 4f Novice Hurdle. Arctic Warrior (Jody McGarvey) might be our best chance. Jody got a great tune out of him to win over 2 miles at Wexford last time. The extra half a mile and better ground here should see him in the mix. Berkshire Royal (Paul) is difficult to train but should improve from his last run when second at Thurles. The ground will be fine for him. Bronn (Danny) will be suited by the trip but this ground could be a little fast for him.
We also have three in the competitive looking 2 mile Novice Hurdle. Deploy The Getaway (Sean O’Keeffe) should be helped by a first time tongue tie. He has the ability to win a race like this. Ha D’or (Paul) was third to Flame Bearer at Naas last time and it is hard to see him reversing that form here. Hawai Game (Mark Walsh) made a mistake and hurt himself when pulling up at Punchestown last time. He has bit to find on form with some of these.
We run five in the Listed Mares Bumper. Patrick surprisingly has picked Nikini over Pink In The Park (Jody Townend) who finished nearly eight lengths in front of her at Leopardstown last time. They look the best of ours here. We will be happy if Eabha Grace (Tom Hamilton), Nos Na Gaoithe (Charlie Mullins) or Tasiteasai (Pat Taaffe) finish in the first three.
