Fairyhouse 28th November

Feigh (Sean O’Keeffe) goes for the 3YO Juvenile Hurdle over 2 miles. She was unplaced at Listowel last time but we are writing that run off as she ran too free. We will try different tactics today to see if that helps her settle and if it does she should run a big race.

We have three runners in the Royal Bond Novice Hurdle over 2 miles. We are drawing a line through Arctic Warrior’s (Mark Walsh) run at Tipperary last month. He has plenty of ability and if back to his best he should be very competitive here. Farout (Sean O’Keeffe) didn’t jump well when second at Listowel last time. If his jumping is better today he could go close. Statuaire’s (Danny) handicap mark suggests she wouldn’t be good enough here but her experience will stand to her over the last two hurdles.

Bleu Berry (Mark Walsh) runs in the Drinmore Novice Chase over 2m 4f. He is in good form but will have to improve considerably if he is to get involved at the business end today.

Stones And Roses (Brian Hayes) goes for the 3m 5f Handicap Chase. He won over 3m 1f at Punchestown last time and the extra trip here will really suit. However, this won’t be easy on his first run of the season. He is one to keep an eye on in staying races for the rest of the season.

We run two in the Hatton’s Grace Hurdle over 2m 4f. Saldier (Patrick) won over 2 miles at Tipperary last time and the increased emphasis on stamina here is just what he needs. He looks good each-way value. Stormy Ireland (Danny) loves this track but has a bit to find with the favourite. Her style of running will keep them all on their toes.

We have five runners in the Grade A Handicap Hurdle over 2 miles. Whiskey Sour (Jack Foley) is not built to carry weight so we are claiming 5lbs and that should give him a chance. This could be a tough ask for Glens Of Antrim (Jody McGarvey) who is having her first run in a handicap and it is her first outing of the season. Purple Mountain (Danny) is also having her first run in a handicap. She has a chance provided the rain stays away. Mr Coldstone (Richie Deegan) would need to improve a lot and probably needs to drop in class. This will be useful experience for him. Dads Lad (Brian Hayes) is improving and has a light weight. If he improves further he could run a big race here.

Data Breach (Patrick) makes his debut in the 4YO bumper. He is a horse we like but this looks like a very hot race. Hopefully, he will run well.
