We have two runners making their hurdling debuts in the Grade 3 Juvenile Hurdle over 2 miles. Farout (Danny) is a nice type by Dark Angel who will improve a lot for this run. Tax For Max (Paul) was a good flat horse in Germany and seems to know his job. He will handle the ground and we are hoping he will at least get into the money today.
We run two in the Bobbyjo Chase over 3m 1f. Acapella Bourgeois (Danny) won this race last year and will love today’s ground. He ran well enough in horrible conditions in the Thyestes last time and we are hoping he will improve on that run here. Burrows Saint (Paul) ran his best ever race here when winning the Grand National. His hurdle form this season hasn’t been good but we are expecting a big run back over fences today at a track that he loves.
Glengouly (Patrick) makes his racecourse debut in the bumper. He has won a point to point and is a horse we like. He has been doing things nicely at home and we’re expecting a very good run.
