Deploy The Getaway (Paul) goes for the 2 mile maiden hurdle. We were disappointed with his run when third at Navan last time. He didn’t really improve on his hurdling debut at Gowran in November where he finished second. He will go on this ground and the trip is fine and hopefully he will show some improvement today.
We have two runners in the bumper. Jackpot Lad (Jody Townend) is making his racecourse debut and we will be pleased if he finishes in the first three. Tenzing (Paul) finished seventh in Facile Vega’s bumper at Leopardstown over Christmas. This represents a drop in class and we are expecting him to be a big player here.
