MacDermott (Pat Taaffe) makes his hurdling debut in the maiden hurdle over 2m 1f. He jumps okay but this trip is a little short for him. However, he takes his chance as we need to start him off over hurdles.
Burrows Saint (Conor McNamara) goes for the 3m 2f chase. He hasn’t run since May last year but he is in good form and ready to start back. This could a nice opportunity for him to get back to winning ways.
Cuta Des As (Pat Taaffe) makes her racecourse debut in the mares bumper over 2m 1f. She is a nice sort who has won a point to point. However, she is probably more a hurdler than a bumper type.
