Lots Of Joy (Paul) makes her hurdling debut in the 4yo maiden hurdle over 2 miles. She jumps great and is as fit as a flea. She’s been working very well and we’ll be disappointed if she doesn’t get off the mark over hurdles today.
Walk In The Brise (Paul) is also making her hurdling debut in the 2m 4f mares maiden hurdle. She has a great jumping pedigree and schools well at home. She will handle the ground and we expect her to go very close.
We run two in the 2m 4f Grade 3 Novice Chase. El Barra (Paul) was disappointing at Listowel last time but a reproduction of his run in the Galway Plate would put him right in the picture here. He will handle this ground. Shadow Rider (Mark Walsh) is having his first run back and wouldn’t have the experience of his stablemate.
We also have two runners in the Cork Grand National Handicap over 3m 4f. Recite A Prayer (Danny) ran a cracker at Listowel and seems to be improving. He will love this trip and ground. Captain Kangaroo (Kieran Callaghan) was second at Gowran last time and is learning the hard way. His rider’s claim will be very valuable over this trip and ground.
Mote Park (Patrick) makes her debut in the mares winners bumper. She is a nice big filly by Doyen who will jump a fence down the road. We think she will run well but it’s a tough ask for a filly taking on winners on her first run.
