Cork 5th December

Kilcruit (Sean O’Keeffe) makes his hurdling debut in division one of the 2 mile maiden hurdle. He jumps well and will enjoy this soft ground. We’ll be disappointed if doesn’t get off the mark over hurdles today.

Sean O’Keeffe also rides Dysart Dynamo in the second division. He was very impressive when winning his two bumpers and his schooling has been excellent. Hopefully, a reproduction of his bumper form will suffice here.

We run three in the mares novice chase over 2 miles. If Concertista (Sean O’Keeffe) can transfer her hurdling form to fences she could be hard to beat. Her schooling has gone well and she should give a good account. Dolcita (Conor McNamara) is also making her chasing debut. She jumps well enough and her hurdling form puts her in with a good chance here. We thought Robinnia (Jack Foley) was unlucky not to win a novice chase at Galway last time and her jumping experience should ensure she won’t be too far away at the business end today.

We have two in the Hilly Way Chase over 2 miles. Energumene (Sean O’Keeffe) has been in excellent form at home and he looks to have every chance of extending his winning sequence here. We’re confident of a big run. Cash Back (Jack Foley) hasn’t run since falling in this race last year and we are just hoping he will get his confidence back with a clear round of jumping today.
