Blood Destiny (Paul) has his first run for us in the 3YO maiden hurdle over 2 miles. He was second in a hurdle at Auteuil and that experience will stand to him here. He has been working nicely and we think he could be a graded type. We’ll know where we are with him after today.
Mercurey (Paul) makes his hurdling debut in the 2 mile maiden hurdle. He is a big tall individual who jumps well and will be suited by this ground. We are looking forward to seeing how he gets on here.
We have two runners in the mares novice chase over 2 miles. Dinoblue (Luke Dempsey) beat one of today’s opponents, Roseys Hollow, over this course and distance last time and we think she has improved enough to confirm that form today. Instit (Paul) starts her chasing career here. She probably needs further but this should put her right for a more suitable race over Christmas or the New Year.
Energumene (Paul) goes for the 2 mile Hilly Chase. He won this race last year and returns in very good form. We are hoping he will once again make a good start to his season with a win here.
