We run three in the mares’ maiden hurdle over 2 miles. Dinoblue (Mark Walsh) is a fine mare with a nice pedigree. She is a half-sister to Blue Sari and she jumps well at home. She should go well here. La Prima Donna (Paul) had very good form on heavy ground over hurdles in France before coming to us. She is like her dam who won the Grande Steeple-Chase de Paris on two occasions and we will see today what she can do on the track. She is not the biggest mare but her previous jumping experience will stand to her here. Mi Lighthouse (Danny) drops back to 2 miles here after finishing second over 2m 5f at Tramore last month. This opposition might just be too good for her.
Gorki D’airy (Patrick) goes for the 2 mile maiden hurdle. He was third here over 2m 3f last time. This trip is a little short for him but the heavy ground will make it a test of stamina. We are hoping for a real good show.
We have two in the conditions hurdle over 2m 4f. Cash Back (Danny) reverts to hurdles here and has a rating to win this but he has more letters than numbers after his name! Hopefully, this run over hurdles will restore his confidence. Classic Getaway (Paul) is making his hurdling debut. He missed an engagement over Christmas but hopefully he will get some experience here. If he can run up to his potential he could give this opposition a race.
