We have two runners in the 2m 2f maiden hurdle. Marajam (Paul) is having his first run for us. The ground will be very heavy here but he is from the same family as Golden Silver who loved testing conditions. He ran in a hurdle race in France and has schooled well at home. David Mullins has his first ride for us since coming back from injury on Miss Punch. She has been disappointing and we will just have to see how she goes on her first run over hurdles.
The West Awaits (Patrick) goes for the mares bumper. She ran well when sixth in a grade two bumper last time and that form should be good enough to win a race like this. The heavy ground today isn’t ideal but hopefully she will handle it.
