Hors Piste (Paul) goes for the mares maiden hurdle over 2m 3f. She was beaten only a whisker on her first run for us when second in a maiden at Tramore last month. That was over 2m 5f but we don’t think she will be inconvenienced by the shorter trip today. She will handle the demanding ground and we’re hoping for the best.
Cavallino (Paul) runs in the beginners chase over 2m 4f. He was a bit disappointing when third over 3 miles at Navan last time. Ideally he would prefer a longer trip today but the testing ground will bring his stamina into play. He likes this track and first time blinkers will be a big addition. If he can handle the heavy ground he should run a big race.
