Gelee Blanche (Paul) goes for the 2 mile maiden hurdle. She ran well to finish third on her hurdling debut at Galway last month and with normal improvement should go close here. Ideally she would prefer nicer ground but she must have a decent chance in what looks like an average maiden.
Power Of Pause (Paul) makes his hurdling debut in the 2m 3f maiden hurdle. He won a point to point so his jumping shouldn’t be a problem. Despite his preference for better ground his bumper form is good enough to suggest that he will make his presence felt in this company.
Cabaret Queen (Paul) goes for the Listed Mares Chase over 2m 4f. She won the Kerry National over 3 miles and won’t be inconvenienced by the drop back in trip here. The race conditions suggest that Magic Of Light will be hard to beat but our mare is in good form and will be suited by this track.
We have two runners in the Clonmel Oil Chase over 2m 4f. Cilaos Emery (Paul) has won around here and going up in trip today won’t do him any harm. We are hoping for a big run. Bachasson (David) won easily over this course and distance last time and will handle the ground.
Jungle Boogie (Patrick) makes his debut in the bumper. He is a nice type by Gold Well who is fit and well and ready to start off. We are a little about the testing ground but hopefully he will handle it okay.
