10 Dec 2019 Race Previews

We have two runners in the 2 mile mares maiden hurdle. Dolcita (Paul) was placed twice over hurdles in France and that experience will be invaluable here. She gets her ground and hopefully she might follow in the footsteps of Laurina who won this race two years ago. Equilibrium (Brian Hayes) was third behind Kalanisi Og at Clonmel last month and that form might be good enough to get her into the money again today.

We also run two in the Maureen Mullins Outstanding Achievement Award 2019 maiden hurdle over 2m 5f. K’chou Du Pecos (Danny) will hopefully have learned a lot from his run behind Vis Ta Loi at Clonmel last time and should show improvement here. Five O’clock (Paul) is a lovely big chasing type who was placed over hurdles in France. We are hoping this might be an opportunity for him to get off the mark over hurdles.

We have two newcomers in the ladies bumper. Fitness Du Sud (Jody Townend) is a nice summer bumper/hurdle type who has had little problems. Hopefully he won’t find this testing ground at the end of a seven race card too much. Little Blue Hero (Ruth Dudfield) is another who had little things go wrong and might not be seen at her best until she gets better ground.
