29 Dec 2018 Race Previews

We have two runners in the 2m 4f maiden hurdle. This is Voix Des Tiep’s (Paul) hurdling debut. He jumps well and will enjoy this softer ground. A reproduction of his bumper form should make him very competitive and hopefully he will get off the mark over hurdles here. Small Farm (Katie O’Farrell) was disappointing in bumpers and is more a chaser in the making.

Pravalaguna (Paul) goes for the 2m 3f mares’ beginners chase. She has the benefit of a run over fences and will improve with this softer ground. We think quite a bit of her and hope she will excel over fences.

We have two in the 3 mile novice hurdle. Dorrells Pierji (Paul) looks like this trip will be right up his street. He will handle this ground and we are expecting him to run a very big race. Pleasure Dome (Danny) didn’t see out the 3 miles at Cork last time so we will try different tactics today and hope for the best.

Castle North (Billy Gleeson) runs in the bumper over 2m 2f. He is making his seasonal debut but is fit and well. He will go on the ground and has his chance.
