We have two runners in the 2 mile mares maiden hurdle. Equilibrium (Paul) is a lovely mare who is having her first run for us. However it is hard to fancy her on the evidence of her last run. Kalanisi Og (Patrick) was second on her hurdling debut at Galway last month and with that experience behind her she should take all the beating here.

We also run two in the 2m 3f maiden hurdle. They are both making their hurdling debuts. K’chou Du Pecos (Paul) is a fine big chasing type who will stay further. He jumps well and will enjoy these testing conditions. Vis Ta Loi (Danny) is a nice type that came from France. He has had his training problems and might be better over a longer trip. He is a natural jumper and we mightn’t see the best of him until he goes chasing.

Suinda (Paul) goes for the 3 mile handicap hurdle. She is a course winner and has a nice racing weight. This trip will really suit.

Douvan (Paul) returns after a long absence in the Clonmel Oil Chase over 2m 4f. He has been in good form at home and the recent rain will be a help. He should go well but we will be happy if he just comes back sound.

Listen Dear (Paul) runs in the mares chase over 2m 4f. She won over hurdles last time but these race conditions are not in her favour. This trip, track and ground will suit but realistically she is probably up against it here.

Tactical Move (Patrick) runs in the bumper. He was second in a very good bumper at the Punchestown festival and that form should be good enough to win a race like this. He is a fine big horse who will like the trip and ground. Hopefully he will win today and then we will go jumping with him.
